Kimball Electronics Romania recently had the pleasure of hosting a group of enthusiastic students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEAA) and the University of Birmingham, England, as part of the educational initiative “HRM in 2030 – Challenges and Realities.” This event was a valuable opportunity to engage with the next generation of human resources professionals and offer them a meaningful glimpse into the future of HR within a global manufacturing context.
Throughout the day, students were introduced to the inner workings of our company through a guided tour of our facility, where they observed our production processes and gained insight into our commitment to operational excellence. The experience was further enriched by inspirational sessions led by Dan Copocean, General Manager, and Marian Nistor, HR Manager, who shared their perspectives on leadership, career development, and the lessons learned from navigating through challenging times. The event also included interactive team-building activities, which fostered collaboration and connection between the students and our team members.
This initiative reflects our ongoing dedication to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application. By partnering with institutions like FEAA and the University of Birmingham, we aim to support the professional growth of future HR leaders and contribute to the development of a resilient and forward-thinking workforce. We are grateful for the collaboration and look forward to continuing our efforts in nurturing talent and promoting innovation in the field of human resources.
