Recently, Kimball Electronics Mexico (KEMX) made a significant donation to Casa de los Abuelitos, a local home for the elderly, by providing twelve brand new mattresses, greatly enhancing the comfort and quality of sleep for the residents.

In addition to the mattresses, KEMX also donated sponge material to create a cushioned walking area, a thoughtful initiative aimed at providing a safer environment for the elderly and reducing the risk of falls. Remarkably, this sponge material was initially waste destined for disposal, showcasing KEMX's commitment to sustainability by repurposing it to benefit the community.

The management at Casa de los Abuelitos expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Kimball Electronics for their generosity and innovative approach to community service. The new mattresses and cushioned walking area are expected to make a significant positive impact on the lives of the residents, offering them a safer and more comfortable living environment.

"This donation serves as a shining example of how businesses can play a pivotal role in supporting and uplifting their communities through thoughtful and sustainable initiatives," said Nancy C., HR Supervisor - Kimball Electronics Mexico.
