Recently, Kimball Electronics Thailand (KETL) representatives Chatanong S., Environmental System Engineer, and Rassarin P., HR Team Lead, participated in the "Participatory Water Source Surveillance Project Between Industrial Estate, Factories and Communities." This project aims to strengthen collaboration between businesses and local communities in the management and preservation of regional water sources.
During the event, participants utilized microorganisms, including EM balls and microbial water, for wastewater treatment. These treatments help to increase oxygen levels in the water, reduce Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), and balance the pH levels. The goal of this process is to improve the overall water quality in the area, ensuring its long-term sustainability and usability.
