In November, Kimball Electronics Romania (KERO) received a visit from the U.S. Embassy Bucharest Leader in support of U.S. and Romania Business Partnerships

KERO received praise from David Muniz, Charge d'Affaires for the U.S. Embassy Bucharest, following a recent visit to, and a tour of, our Timisoara manufacturing facility. AmCham Romania, a chamber of commerce association advocating business growth in Romania, was also represented.

"We are proud to see how Kimball (Electronics) is providing good jobs and generating economic prosperity in Timisoara. Your success demonstrates the strength of U.S.-Romanian shared values for innovation, inclusiveness (and) corporate responsibility," Muniz wrote in a letter to General Manager Dan Copocean.

"One of the messages we wanted to bring to Timisoara is to highlight this economic partnership between the United States and Romania, which we consider vital, growing and particularly important in terms of our strategic partnership between the two countries," said Muniz, during an interview at KERO with a Romanian public radio station. "What we see here are high-tech companies that are doing state-of-the-art work here in Romania. They produce the most sophisticated electronic parts, such as Kimball, medical measuring devices."

KERO was built and developed by the extraordinary employees of Kimball Electronics Romania, with the support and under the umbrella of a solid American investment, for the long run.
