Kimball Electronics today announced that it had won the highest rating in five of five categories measured in its revenue size class in the 2015 Service Excellence Awards (SEAs) for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers. The awards program was sponsored by Circuits Assembly magazine and recognized EMS companies that received the highest customer service ratings as judged by their own customers. Kimball Electronics took top honors for Dependability/Timely Delivery, Manufacturing Quality, Responsiveness, Value, and Technology. The ceremony was held on February 24th, at the IPC APEX Expo in San Diego, California. The company collected top honors in all five criteria in the category for EMS companies with revenues over $500 million.

The program, now in its 23rd year, functions as a way for EMS providers to see how they compare to peers in customer satisfaction. Online responses are collected from a list of customers to determine the company's level of customer satisfaction in various categories. Customer responses and ratings are calculated by an independent tabulator and summarized in a comprehensive, confidential report and awards are presented at the IPC Apex Expo.
