Kimball Electronics' New Contract with Brose Automotive Continues "Up-lifting" Relationship

Kimball Electronics has been recently awarded an additional automotive electronics assembly contract with Brose Automotive, headquartered in Coburg, Germany. Brose Automotive is the fifth-largest family-owned company in the top 100 automotive suppliers worldwide. A pioneer in automotive window lift safety, Brose was the first supplier worldwide of integrated electronic window regulator control-units designed to minimize the risk of injury in the event of body parts getting trapped in the closing window.

The new multi-year, multi-million dollar contract includes manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for electronic switch controls used in vehicle windows. Kimball Electronics – China, located in Nanjing, China, will be one of the manufacturing facilities for this contract. Kimball Electronics-Mexico, located in Reynosa, Mexico, will also be manufacturing assemblies.

This new contract is an addition to the current assemblies and programs manufactured for Brose Automotive in our Kimball Electronics- Poland facility. Kimball Electronics is proud to be able to supply Brose in Europe, North America, and Asia by supporting production from three of our six global manufacturing facilities.
