Long Term Relationship Leads to Expanded Manufacturing at Kimball Electronics – China
Apr 10, 2013

Kimball Electronics attended the Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI) Supplier Conference in October of 2012. As a strategic supplier to MSI, and as part of a continuing long term relationship, Kimball Electronics is invited to attend this two day event annually. Attendance continues to foster relationships at the executive level and to ensure continued strategic alignment between our companies. Kimball Electronics has established itself as one of MSI's top suppliers, in terms of both annual spending by MSI and scorecard performance.

The KEG relationship with MSI has been on-going for the past 13 years, and as a result of our strong performance and strategic alignment, we recently expanded our relationship to include manufacturing in our China facility Kimball Electronics – China (KECN). By offering MSI a cost competitive, regional manufacturing strategy, Kimball Electronics is able to support MSI sites worldwide, and offer a mutually-supporting plant strategy that reduces business continuity risk.

Kimball Electronics continues to manufacture chargers for various product lines, and ship to MSI sites in the USA, Mexico, Europe, Asia and South America.
