Dec 15, 2025, 14:49 by Ashlee Wahl

KE Gives Employee Giving Circle experience a record year in money raised for 2025.

Kimball Electronics is proud to announce that our Kimball Electronics Gives employee giving circle had a record-breaking year, raising $15,000 for worthy causes in 2025. This milestone reflects the generosity and commitment of our employees to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.

This year, 78 Partners participated at giving levels of $20, $40, or $120, with Kimball Electronics matching these contributions and adding $5,520 to the total. Since its inception in 2018, KE Gives has awarded $83,351 to 41 charities, demonstrating the power of collective giving.

Our guest speaker for the granting event was Derek Brown, an elementary school teacher in Phoenix, Arizona, and founder of The Kindness Club AZ. Brown, featured on CBS Sunday Morning, shared how his students raised $18,000 over two years to help those in need—personally handing out $100 bills to strangers who could use a helping hand.

“The giving away is really the icing on the cake, but it’s transforming the kids,” Brown said. “One student told me, ‘Mr. Brown, I don’t know if what we did was better for them or better for me.’”

Kimball Electronics donated $500 to The Kindness Club, and employees contributed an additional $325, with one employee committing to a recurring monthly donation.

Here’s what some of our grant recipients had to say:
